I’m a Brazilian director currently based in Portugal. My path into filmmaking began in the fast-paced and vibrant world of music videos, where I directed over a hundred projects. Those early years behind the camera became a true creative lab, allowing me to explore rhythm, aesthetics, and the emotional power of visual storytelling. Outside the traditional academic route, I developed a voice that is instinctive, personal, and deeply attuned to human nuance.

 

My work seeks to balance documentary sensitivity with the freedom of cinematic experimentation, always centered on stories of intimacy, identity, and marginalization. I see cinema not just as a form of expression, but as a space for active listening and empathy, a place where images can serve as a bridge between silence and visibility.

 

Today, I continue to explore narrative and hybrid formats, searching for new ways to tell stories that challenge, resonate, and reflect the complexity of human experience.
